Kim + Erik – Antique Boat Museum – Clayton, NY

If you’re looking for some wedding day inspiration in the Thousand Islands of NY, then look no farther. You can’t get more unique than marrying at the Antique Boat Museum in Clayton, NY. Especially if it’s paired with a wedding day boat ride on the gorgeous St. Lawrence river.

Kim and Erik chose to do a first look which we at Lily Moon are ALWAYS a fan of. It not only creates an intimate space for you and your partner to see each other before the real stuff hits, but it helps alleviate those nerves and allows for you to get wedding portraits out of the way so you can relax after your wedding ceremony.

The hardest part of blogging a wedding is picking out the top images to share ESPECIALLY when the day was beautiful and there were so many stunning shots. The fact that the couple is gorgeous helps too. 😉

Doing a first look also allows for a cocktail break. Have I convinced you of a first look yet?

After a boat ride on the St. Lawrence, some fun bride + groom photos and much needed puppy snuggles, it was time for the main event. One of my favorite parts of getting married right on the water, especially in the thousand islands, is that there’s always a bit of wind. It adds a touch of drama to the photos which is an obvious YES if you have a dress that flows. Kim’s dress was perfection even without the wind but the breeze helped do it justice.

The reception was laid back and called for an outfit change. With a gorgeous sunset to follow, our Lily Moon photographers jetted out to the dock for some sunset photos to end a perfect wedding day.

A huge shoutout to these wedding vendors for helping to make Kim + Erik’s wedding day so perfect!
